Do note that this test is only using integer values (which is common for this), long strings will take longer to hash as array keys.

Each test case ran 20 random code order iterations consisting of 270,556 loops for a total of 5,411,120 runs.

  • Avg difference (1.937) milliseconds per 270,556 loops.
  • Total difference 38.74 milliseconds for 5,411,120 loops

The iteration variablity for Code 1 was (1.4943) milliseconds and Code 2 was (3.1279) milliseconds. The lower and the closer together there values are the more accurate the results are.

The first test, "!isset()", was:
